We are very pleased to announce that due to many COVID restrictions being lifted we are now able to bring our specialist support back together with our social group to run as one group.
We see some really clear advantages and extra benefits to you by including our specialist support within the group setting:
More flexibility with timings to receive support when your baby is ready to feed
Building connections and friendships with other parents
Learning from other families facing similar challenges
Enabling longer term, ongoing, holistic support
Here's what parents say about receiving support in a group:
“I get an enormous feeling of connecting with other mothers… this group makes us all feel a bit less lonely, isolated and broken.”
“Joining regularly means you get to know one another, forge connections with other mothers in the area, and build your village.”
“It’s great to be able to talk to other mums with a range of ages of babies and experience to get advice and share experience so you know you're not going through it alone.”
More about our group support format
These changes will come into effect from Monday 1st August 2022, with each location running as one main support group. The group will run from 9.30 to 12 noon and when you book you’ll need to select whether you’re coming for a social visit or if you need specialist support.
In order to manage waiting times and predictability, we are splitting bookings for specialist support into either the first half of the session at 9.30am, or the later half at 10.45am and capacity will remain limited. Whatever you have booked for, you are welcome to stay for the whole session between 9.30am and 12 noon where you can expect our usual warm welcome, hot drink and cake, and to meet other families. Partners, children and supporters are also welcome.
If you have any questions, or you’d like to provide us with your feedback on our services and the format of our groups, then please email us at email@example.com.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our groups soon!
