We have partnerships with trusted local organisations to bring useful services to you when you visit us. 

Kent Baby Matters: Sling library 

Drop in to talk to the Sling Library at any of our Baby Umbrella groups. Learn more about using a sling or carrier and get support to try a range of carriers to see what works best for you. Baby-wearing consultants and peer support volunteers are there to help.

There is a range of stretchy wraps, woven wraps, ring slings, buckle carriers and meh dais available to purchase, or to rent for £15 per month. Families receiving healthy start vouchers pay no fee.

Cloth nappy library 

Do you want to save money and save the environment with cloth nappies? Drop in to any Baby Umbrella group to find out more from the cloth nappy library.

You can also rent a cloth nappy kit with various styles and brands to try for £15 per month. Families receiving healthy start vouchers pay no fee.

Kent Baby Matters:
Breast Pump Hire 

If you need to use a breast pump, Kent Baby Matters hires Ardo Calypso electric pumps at all our Baby Umbrella groups.

The cost is £15 per month to hire the electric pump and £10 to buy a collection kit (the part that fits on your breast). If you want to pump both breasts together you'll need two collection kits. Families receiving healthy start vouchers pay no hire fee.

Boobiemilk: Nursing bra fitting

Free specialist nursing bra fitting service, running alongside our Tunbridge Wells group on the 3rd Monday of each month. A range of brands and sizes are available to purchase. 

​

All bras stocked can be used throughout pregnancy and nursing and Boobiemilk can advise you on the various options available. 

​

£5 from the sale of each bra/vest will be donated to Baby Umbrella.
