Making your handprints

Make your handprints at one of our sessions - or why not do them yourself at home?

Simply choose your designs, make some hand or footprints with black, red or brown paint, make your payment, then drop your prints and order form into one of our groups, or scan and email to us. Follow the steps below!

We can print any of these designs on a mug, coaster or tree ornament.

02: Make your prints

  • Choose your paint colour for the design you'd like (black, brown and red).

    • Penguin prints need a fully black print (either hand or foot)​

    • Robin prints need a brown handprint with a red 'heel' of the hand, or a brown footprint with a red inner arch.

  • Paint your baby's hand or foot with a paintbrush. For tiny ones, feet are much easier to print as they tend to scrunch up their hands and its tough to get a good print!

  • Stamp it on plain white paper. Try a few times until you get a print you like.

03: Purchase your items in our shop

We can print your design on either a mug, a tree ornament or a coaster - take your pick! Lots of our families order additional items as gifts for grandparents, aunties and uncles, godparents and all sorts of people who are special in your child's life.

04: Send your prints and order form to us

  • Download and fill in your order form with the items and custom text you would like, and your preferred collection point

  • Scan and email your prints and order form to info@babyumbrella.org.uk 
    OR

  • Drop them in to one of our groups by 21st November.

05: Collect your items!

  • We will email you when your orders are ready to pick up from the location you specified on your order form. 

  • EARLYBIRD: Orders completed in October can be picked up at the end of November

  • REGULAR: Orders completed by 21st November can be picked up from the 8th December
